1. GameDEX: Reconstructing the Digital Asset Experience Through Real-Time Competition
Version 2.2
Status: Public Draft
Year: 2026
2. Abstract
PumpSnake is a multiplayer real-time competitive product built around the GameDEX concept. It does not require users to first understand wallets, private keys, or decentralized trading mechanics. Instead, through a live match that players can enter, compete in, exit, and settle at will, it allows users to experience — often for the first time — outcomes tied to the real-time prices of digital assets.
3. Why This Project Exists
For Over the past decade, Web3 has faced the same fundamental challenge: How can users truly understand what it means to own digital assets, rather than merely completing a technical process once?
The typical onboarding flow in traditional Web3 products looks like this:For most users, this is a high-pressure, irreversible decision made without any experiential validation.
PumpSnake completely reverses that order:
Experience the outcome first, then understand the value. Participate first, then decide how deep you want to go.
4. Market Background and Core Problems
4.1 Structural Problems of Traditional GameFi
4.2 The Beginner Barrier of Traditional DEXs
PumpSnake is designed to address both of these problems at once.
5. What is GameDEX
PumpSnake is a multiplayer real-time competitive game built on the GameDEX concept. Through match-based competition, risk judgment, and a free exit mechanism, players can, for the first time, experience outcomes tied to the real-world prices of digital assets inside a game.
6. PumpSnake Overview
PumpSnake is a multiplayer real-time competitive game built on the GameDEX protocol.
PumpSnake does not simulate a trading market.
It is itself a value arena.
7. Core Gameplay Mechanics
7.1 Dynamic Match Extension
This mechanism ensures that match value is driven by participation behavior, not by preset outcomes.
7.2 Bonus Time (Final Stage)
7.3 Free Exit Mechanism
8. Gameplay Flow
A PumpSnake match can be summarized as:
Enter -> Grow -> Contest -> Decide -> Exit / Settle
Opening phase:
After entering a match with a ticket, players spawn as small snakes.Early game:
The first priority is rapid growth, mainly by consuming basic food and low-threshold resources to establish initial length.Mid game:
Players gradually begin routing and contesting around treasure chests, special resources, and localized conflicts.Late game:
Top players begin to establish a size advantage. As map resource density changes and Bonus Time approaches, the match enters a high-pressure strategic window. Unlike traditional snake games, PumpSnake is not simply about who survives the longest or grows the biggest. It is about who can convert in-match advantage into a result that can actually be locked in.
8.1 Map, Resources, and Growth System
8.1.1 Map
PumpSnake uses a phased map expansion system. As more players join the match, the map size expands accordingly.
8.1.2 Resources
There are three main categories of in-match resources:
a. Basic growth resources
Regular food continuously respawns across the map and serves as the most stable source of growth. Players increase their size by consuming these resources
b. High-value contested resources
Small, Medium, and Large Treasure Chests correspond to different levels of real rewards and are deployed across the map at different intervals. Players can earn real rewards by contesting and capturing them.
c. Event resources
Beetles and Golden Beetles may spawn randomly during a match, often appearing with clown themed visuals. They create additional focal points for competition on the map.
8.1.3 Growth
Each player starts with a base value for snake length, diameter, and field of vision. These attributes improve over time during the match, but the cost of growth also rises progressively.
The later the game goes, the more points are required for each additional segment of growth. This means that while larger players gain greater control and pressure, that advantage is not free. Every step of late-game growth becomes more expensive, and mistakes become increasingly costly
8.2 Item System
Current in-match items include attribute-enhancing tools such as acceleration, turning enhancement, and radar; defensive tools such as helmets and revival; and offensive tools such as lightning. Most item effects, except Helmet, Lightning, and Revive, can be upgraded through seasonal progression to increase their maximum in-match duration.
9. Asset and Economic System Overview
PumpSnake uses value-mapped assets:
The core value of PumpSnake is not asset custody.
Its core value is allowing users to bear real price outcomes for the first time.
Snake NFT: Rental-Based Productive Asset
Snake NFTs are not decorative collectibles or character skins.
They are productive assets that participate in the platform’s rental-yield distribution model.
9.1 Rental Mechanism
Before each match begins, the system randomly assigns one Snake to the player
9.2 Token System Design
1 Skill Token
Skill represents participation credibility, not capital power.
2 GameDEX Tokens
9.3 Types of GameDEX Assets
PumpSnake supports two major asset categories:
External market assets
Community / internal assets
9.4 Snake Issuance and Rental Yield Stabilization
PumpSnake does not promise a fixed supply of Snakes.Instead, new issuance is anchored to a target rental yield range per Snake.
Target yield range
The system defines a reasonable monthly rental yield range for a single Snake.
Issuance rules
Release method
This design helps ensure that asset pricing can remain rational over the long term.
10. User Growth and Participation Path
1.Enter the game for free
2.Obtain outcomes through competition
3.Accumulate Skill Tokens
4.Draw or trade fragments
5.Choose to synthesize a Snake or monetize directly
Ordinary players and heavy players can coexist over the long term.
11. Fairness, Security, and Risk Control
PumpSnake does not promise profits. It only promises clear rules.
12. Technical Architecture
13. Governance & Ecosystem Expansion
14. Roadmap
